I had a wonderful time at the Nanowrimo London kick-off party today, meeting old friends and making new ones. It's a wonderful feeling meeting people you've already chatted to on Twitter. I can't believe how great all these people are!
And now I'm completely wiped. It was worth it though.

There was a small one that I wanted to attend yesterday, but I wasn't able to make it. There's one midway on the 13th at a local library and hopefully, I'll get there.
I'm getting a little nervous....got to go out and get some serious food shopping done. And the laundry.
I'm glad you had fun!
Yay!! GOOD LUCK to you all gearing up to Nano!!!
I'm so excited for all of you and really wish you all the very very very best!!
Ready set - write! Or type! :-)
Take care

Sounds like a blast. I'm glad you had a good time.
We went to a pumpkin carving party last night. It was good to get out, see some old friends and meet some new ones.
The party was well organized with binders stuffed with pumpkin carving designs. Amazing what people think of for party themes.
Words Crafter, it's a pity you missed the meet the other day; I hope you get to go to the one on the 13th. It's definitely time to be getting nervous. Only one more full day to go before we start!
Kitty, thank you for all your good wishes!
Sarah, that party sounds like fun. We had a stripping party when I was a kid: our friends were invited round to draw on the wallpaper and then help to strip it off. That was good fun too!
And we get to see FH has another talent she keeps close to her chest... she's a damn fine street-photographer too and when nano is done, I'm going to be pressing her to work a little more in that direction... :-)

Nick Turpin would be proud of that one!
Thanks, Richard! You're too kind!
I'm going to put that one up as my regular Satscenes post. Sorry about the multiple posting today!
