Happy Halloween!

I'm planning on a nice lazy day to recover from yesterday's kick-off party, followed by watching a romantic comedy with my Beloved while answering the door to local kids seeking treats. I love seeing all their costumes and handing out sweets.

Red wine may feature too. Diets are for wimps: I just buy bigger trousers. (I mistyped "bugger trousers" and maybe that's more like it.)

I hope you have a wonderful day today, however you spend it!

Bugger trousers indeed...

Down with trousers I say, and up with skirts!

Only *then* will we rise to the challenge...

Kitty, glad to see you agree on the trousers front. (And on their back too, perhaps.) I hope you have a wonderful day!

Richard, you're in fine form. I'm assuming there'll be no going skyclad for you, if the weather here is anything to go by.

Happy Halloween! :D

I tend not to do the 'ceremonial' thing anyway, FH - that's more of a Wiccan thing.

Wiccan is to Cunning Man as Catholic is to Quaker.

I so wish I could have the attitude of just buying bigger pants. Unfortunately, dieting works better because money is a rare commodity for me right now.

I found your blog through the Halloween Haunting and am looking forward to stopping by again soon! :)

Sweat pants with an elastic waist all the way for me, baby!

Wishing you plenty of treats today and just enough tricks to keep life interesting!

Happy Halloween to you too, Golden Eagle!

Richard, I didn't realise you're a Cunning Man but it sounds about right!

Elle, dieting is cheaper but with changes to my meds isn't working. I can stress or I can buy trousers! Hope you stop by again.

Phoenix, that's the sort I wear! Thanks for the good wishes, hope you have fun too.

Happy Hallowe'en to you too. I'm off Trick-or-Treating very soon ...

The score so far: two groups of about five kids with parents in tow, wanting sweets.

One empty can of shaving foam with a satsuma left on doorstep.

The trick-or-treaters round here are a bit surrealist.

Have fun, Simon!

Hope you have fun relaxing and being haunted tonight. I'm supposing that should be past tense as you're probably in bed by now.

Love the calendar counting the days and the words. I'll be with you in spirit and maybe even setting goals tonight to finish a certain book by the end of the month. The Koala will be pleased with us both.

Hope you had a wonderful Halloween, Fairy! :)

Sarah, thanks. We had quite a lot of visitors this year wanting treats in the end. The calendar doesn't seem to work properly (often the way at the start of Nano) but maybe they'll sort it soon.

raine, I did, thank you. I hope you did too!
