There I was, all proud of my geeky skills, and then instead of backing up my existing blog template I saved a new template. I can't get the old one back and I still haven't got the quick edit feature back that was my reason for fiddling.
I have lost* all my widgets.
I'll have to sort it all out when I've written my 2k for today. Bugger.
*Edited to add: not lost, just misplaced. I need more caffeine.

Hope this gets straightened out. I love your little word counter. Really in a good mood today, eh?
Thank you.
I got rid of 300 words today because I'd left the story going in the wrong direction so it didn't start well.
It can only get better.
Hey, girl.
No worries! At least you know how to do a spreadsheet! Hell, I took a CLASS and I still think Excel us about as impenetrable as Farsi.
Thanks, Robin.
We used Excel a bit in my last job and they sent us on a day's training for it. It was one of the most useful trainings I've been on.
I love playing with computers.
OMG - so many posts. Love it, FHH!
Me thinks you are avoiding writing, but I have no room to talk. I'm not past the 857 I originally wrote. And half of that is probably going to get cut and rewritten since I don't like the way it's going. At any rate, I can't write anything until tomorrow because of school stuff.
Keep chugging, FHH. I like the spreadsheet idea.
You're right, freddie. So far today I have written zero words.
Good luck with yours. I think we both need to lock our Internal Editors away till after Nano. Mine keeps telling me that my story is the worst one ever written.
I need to get back into playing mode.
Good luck getting the rest wiggled out....and all that writing, too!
Thanks, Jessi.
Just remember that NaNo is more about writing a lot than it is about writing well.
I learned a lot from it the one time I did it and that book will never see the light of day.
If you really like your story idea, I suggest you ignore good writing for now and rewrite it completely when the month is over.
Good plan, Sarah.
I've got too much going on to write anything today but maybe on Monday...
