The Wedding of the Year

Arriving. Left to right: my younger son's fiancée, my sister, my younger son, me.

Pretending to sign the register. The civil ceremony was surprisingly moving.

The bride and her two sisters.

My sons.

Mostly paparazzi. My Beloved is at the back; I've got hardly any pictures of him because he was so busy taking photos himself.

The bride and groom.

Well, I had to dance at my son's wedding.

What a wonderful celebration! And fun pix. I especially love the line of paparazzi. Were there helicopters too?

Naughty me *really* wants to post the picture of you dancing in OL as a 'caption this'... >;-)

Looks like you all had a great day - I hope you don't have to pay too much of a price with your CFS, I have to admit I'm surprised to see you posting at all this week after that, unless you're still running on adrenaline?

Ann, thank you! We did have a wonderful time.

Phoenix, helicopters? Damn! I knew we'd forgotten something.

Slush, we did indeed!

Scarlet, thank you. Everyone under about 40 looks young to me these days!

M(R)p, thank you! It was a very beautiful dress.

Richard, go for it! I'm not shy.

I was wasted this morning partly because of a hard pillow and thin walls (we stayed at the hotel) but I'm picking up again. I'm not sure if it's adrenaline or the fact that I'm getting serious about relaxation. We'll see!

Kitty, thank you; you're always so sweet!

Looks like you've been watching too many kung fu movies.

Or maybe it was just raising two boys...

You've got a son, Whirl. You understand.
