Ireland episode 3

On our last day we went whale watching and we saw seals, porpoises and dolphins.

The dolphins came alongside the boat near enough that you could almost touch them, and one of them was a baby! Does it get any better than that?

Oh, and here are a few more colourful buildings for good luck!

Now you can make up your own slide show just like Lexi suggested!

Dolphins, porpoises and seals, oh my!!!!

Wow!!!! I love that little clip - they're so close to the boat and ever so fast!! Look at them go! Brilliant!

Those lovely houses kill me. I want a bright yellow, green and red house now!

Take care

Just seals, porpoises and dolphins, huh? I'd have asked for my money back on that whale hunt.

Whirl, they did warn us before we booked that whales weren't likely! The seals were pretty boring I have to say - except for George. He was the seal we saw in the port before we left. Apparently he only appears when a fishing competition is going to start.

I do believe I have porpoise envy now...

SQUEE! DOLPHINS!

Actually, they make that "squee" noise also, don't they?

Jemi, thank you! It was pretty amazing.

jj, I'm not sure I heard the dolphins squee, but the porpoises make a wonderful Phfffft sound through their blowholes!

It sounds as though this portion of the trip went well. I do like the buildings, even though I'm not sure I'd want to live in one.
