It's 2°C/36°F outside and feels colder with the wind chill. The seasonal average for Epsom is around 12°C/54°F. I don't think the temperature has been much above 5°C since Christmas but I may be wrong.
We put the clocks forward at the weekend; you know: spring forward (fall back). It doesn't feel much like spring here.

I scraped ice this morning here in Texas. Of course Saturday it is supposed to be 90 Fahrenheit.
Travis, that's even more extreme than in Epsom! I didn't think that was possible.

I heard there's going to be a heat wave at the end of April. Maybe that was an April Fool joke that I fell for. Come on Spring!
Debbie, I do hope it wasn't a joke! Looking at the weather forecast it looks like we're going to be getting warmer weather within the next week but I can't see any sign of the sun coming out.
Now I understand why Ol Man Winter refuses to budge!!

Kitty, if only we could reboot the weather! It's snowing today. Not much... but still, it's snowing and it's April. And Rufus is blaming us for the weather!
I'm back in Chicago and it's cold here, too. We're still wearing our winter coats every day.
Stacy, I keep hoping for spring but I still needed my ski jacket, scarf, hat and mittens today. Oh, and two pairs of trousers!
Most amusing! This cold start to spring will mean we get a gloriously hot summer. Although I say this with no scientific justification whatsoever.

We've finally got warmer weather (cool is one thing, freezing is another!) and we even had sunshine over Bank Holiday Weekend which is almost a first!
It's Sunday and what's happened to the weather!?!? Where's the sun!?!??
