My younger son gets married at the weekend and I finally finished the silver shrug I was making to go with my dress.
I have silver sandals and a silver bag so I also sprayed a hat silver. It's great if you don't mind the silver coming off on your hair and fingers. So I bought one on ebay. Then I saw a better one.
How many silver hats does anyone need?

That's a very pretty outfit! Where did you get the pattern for the shrug?
Sandra, thank you! The shrug is a mixture of a baby blanket pattern from the 1970s, and this pattern for the edging. You can see details on my Ravely project page.
A woman needs three silver hats. I thought everyone knew that!
Beautifully crafted.
You can never have too many silver hats!! The silver-er the better too!!

Lexi, that's a relief then! I don't think I can wear them all at once, though.
Debbie, thank you!
Kitty, thank you! It's this coming weekend so I hope the weather holds up.
You look great, but my brain has seized up, because the camera seems to be in the frame?
Ooh, so pretty! I love it!
I can't answer you about the silver hats. I have a single leopard-print fez that satisfies all my fancy dress needs. ;)
David, thank you and sorry! After the wedding I should be able to get hold of a picture without a camera in it!
jj, thank you. A leopard-print fez, eh? I'd love to see a picture!
And I'd love to see everyone's faces if I wore a leopard-print fez to the wedding!
I'm sorry that spam got through, folks. I moderate all old posts and I've disabled anonymous posting but I don't want to do anything more drastic (like use ReCaptcha) unless the spam gets really bad.
grats to the young fellow!
as for your dilemma, i'm at a loss :O lol
Thanks laughingwolf! In the end I went for one of the hats that didn't risk leaving trails of silver down my face all day!
