The best bit of Christmas
The best bit of Christmas is the wrapping paper. Ask Rufus.
He did also get a toy hamster that makes the paper in the box rustle enticingly when it's turned on.
Bonnie scratched her face over her eye and gave herself an eye infection. She's had the Cone of Shame on all Christmas, poor little thing.
I hope you all had a Happy Christmas!

A neighbour once brought her cat home from the vet wearing the cone of shame, and about an hour later there was a howl of anguish from the hallway... the cone wouldn't fit the entrance to the litter-box, or the catflap - and the poor cat was busting a gut...
I'm sure there's a lesson there somewhere.
Awwwww poor lovely Bonnie!! Aww Cones of Shame are not nice! But I hope she gets better!
Rufus is just adorable!! Yay for wrapping paper and boxes!
Happy Christmas, fairyhedgehog! Take care

Richard, poor little cat! At least Bonnie has access to a couple of litter trays! She's very unhappy but we need to let her eyebrow heal up.
Kitty, I do feel sorry for Bonnie. Rufus is very cute and it's fun to see him making his nest!
"The cone of shame" great name! Poor cat though. Rufus looks like he has moved in that box for good....can't say I blame him.
DJK, it is a great name, I wish I'd thought of it! Having Rufus in his box leaves my lap free for my laptop so it's all good!
My kitties are now terribly jealous of Rufus. Not so jealous of Bonnie, though...
Happy Healing and New Year to All!
Wishing you a very happy New Years! Hope Bonnie is feeling better soon, poor kittie!
Phoenix, Rufus is terribly spoiled! But Bonnie is feeling better now she can have her collar off, and she's nesting in the wrapping paper!
Ann, Thank you and to you too! Bonnie is feeling much better already.
That hamster needs locking up.
Whirl, we have to catch him first!
LOL! Have a great new year!
Tell Bonnie she's being Queen Elizabeth I for Christmas. Did they get any nice boxes for Christmas, or was the wrapping paper enough?
My cat loves to hide in boxes too :P
Thanks, Simon, you too!
Batgirl, I'll remember that for next time she's collared! We make sure the cats have a steady supply of boxes by doing lots of shopping online!
