I don't often put fiction up, but I thought I'd do a voice recording for you. The text of the recording is over at Podbean and you can see it here. I'm sorry that the recording levels go off every so often. When I tried to re-record the duff parts I ended up deleting everything so in the end I had to let it stand!

Thanks, Kitty. It's a bit long so you might want to click the link to the text and just skim it!
Looks like you've beaten me to the Christmas story podcast...
This is great stuff. More adventures for this fairy are due.
The microphone thing can be solved by constructing a muff from Rufus' dried out furballs.
Suggested new year resolution: put more fiction up.
Thanks, Whirl! Rather than mugging Rufus for his furballs, next time I'll get my older son to sort it out for me. He knows how these things work!
I enjoyed that! Did I hear a cat in the background?
The offspring had visits from the Bottle Foil Fairy (third class) who had a part time job with the Tooth Fairy. She used to leave very small thank you letters.
Lexi, that's so cute! And you may indeed have heard a cat ;)
:-)
This is so sweet, Prickles.
It's a bit poignant, too. My 15yo said to me last week, "Mom, I know it's Christmastime, but I'm just not feeling it." We lose the magic and become jaded far too early.
Loved this story :)
MRp, thank you! I'm glad you like it. For me the Xmas magic used to be taking the kids out after dark to look at everyone's Christmas lights!
Happy Christmas!!

Scarlet, thank you, and Happy Christmas to you too!
