Flash Fiction

I've been getting the Flash Fiction newsletter for a while now. Not all the stories are to my taste but I loved a recent one with the unpromising title Pêlos. It contrasts beautifully the modern and the archaic, and there is some amusing dialogue between a bright teenager and someone rather dimmer.

I see that they are accepting submissions. Just in case you have a story ready to go and need to keep the koala happy.

Hi!!

I left a message on the Pelos page because this line was the BEST!

"There'll be no unioning of the loins today"

LOL!!!!

And thank you for the links. The Koala is sort of scary...!! In a nice way, honest!

Take care

This is great! Thank you!

Since joining Koala's Challenge, I suddenly find myself making a list of short fiction markets. Flash fiction is great for emergency Koala Points :)

I liked that one. (I read a lot of flash fiction- it suits my attention span.)

There was one in the december issue- I think it was called Brass Canaries or somesuch, that I also really liked.

Mother, I like reading it too, online. I prefer novels offline. It's fun to write because I feel it's a length I can handle.
