Kitten pictures as promised

totally cute! I was so tempted to adopt a new kitten yesterday, but I said no. I'm probably going to hell for it. but paring down to one cat has been great. Great for him, great for me. but kittens are so hard to say no to, aren't they?

Your kittens are just too cute.

freddie: Thank you!

writtenwyrd: We only had one cat for a very long time and she seemed to prefer it that way. But it's good for these two to have each other to fight with - it saves us a lot of scratches.

If it hadn't been for my friend having kittens I was going to go for older cats because kittens are so much work. They need feeding at least four times a day (it feels more like double that)and it's been a struggle to get Bonnie to understand the use of the litter tray.

It will be easier when they're old enough to go out. Easier, but more nerve racking.

I've come over all soppy and drippy.

Looks like I'll have to spend most of the day wearing a bin liner.

Oh! These babies are darling.

Did I miss the post where you decided on names for each?

I remember you thinking about Rufus for one - I really like that one.

whirlochre: that bin liner look is so in.

robin: I can't remember if I posted their names or not. Yes, we decided to stick with Bonnie for the female and the male is now Rufus. Glad you like his name.

Darling names!

Ohhh, I'm struggling with the urge to get a kitten all to myself. They are wonderful! I especially like the dogpile (if you will excuse the expression) in the final shot!

I know what you mean about moving fast. When we had a kitten (got hit by a car :( ) I took a photo every day and a huge challenge was getting it in focus before the kitten moved! And that was with a high-tech fast camera ;)

Robin: thank you!

Sylvia: you've had a kitten so you know what it's like. They're adorable but I feel completely frazzled by them.

Cars are my worst fear with cats. Our road gets busy at school start and finish times but there's not a lot we can do about it. They're not allowed out yet, though, they need their second injections first.
