It's the run-up to Nanowrimo and I've discovered Written? Kitten!
Previously I'd seen Write or Die but Written? Kitten! is a far better incentive. For every 100 words you type you get a new picture of a cute kitten.
I think it could make me positively verbose! Who can resist the lure of a kitten?

Things like Write or Die don't work for me, because I need pauses when I write. With this, I can look at a kitten while I pause.
I'm worried the kittens might somehow infiltrate my novel. I'm currently writing a life and death struggle in a snow storm on top of a skyscraper - no place for a kitten.
I've recently started punching the air and woohooing at every thousand words. With each new hundred words I just tell myself how good I am :o)
