Sylvia, yay for being inspired! If you've forgotten how to crochet there are loads of good videos online, like Teresa's Art of Crochet ones. I'm using knitting videos to work out how to make a hat!
Awww, those little geckos are soooo cute!! And craftsy. I never learned how to knit or crochet beyond a straight line, so am in awe of anything so intricate looking.

Great stuff all round! I jut hope you don't need them much this summer ...
Looks like you've made a really nice job of those...
And it's nice to see a little bit of blog activity too - you were missed...
Thanks Simon! I hope so too!
And thanks Richard, it's nice to know I was missed.
Yay for pretty things *and* for words!
You inspired me, I bought a crochet hook. However, it appears that I no longer know how to crochet! It isn't quite like riding a bike.

Ooh, pretties! I bet one day we will see you modeling crocheted and knitted bits from top hat to toe booties. How did your gecko come out?
Oh, so pretty! I especially like the shawl; the crochet work and those colours are just so lovely.
And congratulations on the writing! You've, er, been doing much better than me in that regard...
Absolutely beautiful work.
I made 32 hats over the winter for Hospice patients. Love to knit and crochet.
Phoenix, well you can get crocheted bikinis but I draw the line at those!
jj, thank you! I thought I was the unwritiest person ever so I'm glad it's not just me!
Joan, thirty-two hats! I'm in awe! I'm just making a knitted hat now and it's going to take a l o o o n g time!
Phoenix, I forgot to say that you can see my geckos here.

Phoenix, thanks. They really weren't too difficult. Once you've done a straight line there should be no stopping you!
