Yesterday I took the day off and went to the London Nano meet. My Beloved came too because it was too wet to play tennis.
On the way home I sorted out some ideas for part three of the story. I've got ninja pirates kidnapping someone. It's not as daft as it sounds. OK, maybe it is then.
Just 18,000 words to go and then I can do some serious editing!

You know, I didn't laugh until you assured me it wasn't daft.
The meetups look like Nano's worth it after all.
You're over 60% done in less than half the time. Way to go!
I would just like to put in my full support for ninja pirates. I think every story could improved with a few.
Even "The Greatest Story Ever Told"?
Sorry. Out of line. Couldn't help it. Sick humor, you know?
But if it isn't blasphemy, I can see where that could be written. Hmmm. I wonder.
I've been holding off from the nanoisms but I needed something to happen and ninja pirates just fit the bill. I haven't identified them as such.
Bevie, I'm glad I made you laugh, and thanks for the encouragement. Maybe you could let us see The Greatest Story Ever Told Complete With Ninja Pirates when you finish it?
Adam, I think it was you said that in the first place. I just hope you're right!
I read something on one of the blogs I frequent--I'll let you know if I find the post--about how you might actually be on the right track if your ideas make you say things like, "I'm not really going to do something this crazy in this story, am I?"
Congratulations on your continued amazing progress! I hope you had a great day off.
Thanks for your encouragement, SH. That quote was really what I needed to hear!
looks like a nice pub.
