I had an afternoon in the glorious (surprise) sun yesterday — most welcome given the recent plague of grey.
But I'm sad to have missed everyone.
We were sad to miss you too, Whirl. Your name came up more than once (as did that of other absent friends).
I like the midblue because it frames the page best and matches the header's sky.

Glad you all had a good time. REALLY wish I could have been there, but I take comfort in the fact that even if I'd had the money, I wouldn't have been able to go because of school.

I'm favouring the light blue background myself. I think it frames the page nicely without being overpowering and compliments the picture beautifully.
I too am worn out today so I'll try put up a post tomorrow. Unfortunately I managed to mess up the picture taking (Hubby's super whizzy phone was completely beyond me and I only managed to get 2 pics of the entire afternoon) so I shall look forward to seeing yours tomorrow.
I'll give it a try with the light blue until we get some more votes in.

I voted minimal, but now it's up as sky blue it works. Matches the hamster too.
