Rufus and the snow

Where is Rufus?

Here he is!

Can you blame him?
The north wind doth blow,
And we shall have snow,
And what will poor robin do then?
Poor thing.

He'll sit in a barn,
And keep himself warm,
And hide his head under his wing,
Poor thing.

At least the humans made it as far as the pub!

Sylvia, it's not often he gets called clever!

Cats are always clever. So clever they can hide it from you extremely well.

He looks really comfy in there.

Sarah, Bonnie is the hardest to find because of her dark colouring, which is a pain when I need to give her antihistamines!

Yay for the Pub!! LOL!

Aww Rufus - you are wise and wonderful!! Poor Robin! Hope he's tucked up somewhere dry and cosy too!!

Take care

Soooo cute. What a snug fit.

Kitty, I think calling him wise is pushing it a bit!

Debbie, he is very, very cute. And it's just as well!

Cleverer than our Priss - we tossed her out into the snow, and she just sat there and mewed, didn't even turn around in her bum-print until I opened the door again.
How cats survived in the wild I have no idea. Primeval cardboard boxes?

batgirl, aw! Sometimes I think cats aren't very bright. I love how they try different doors out of the house, expecting to find different weather!

My Barney is just about making it two feet out of the door when he absolutely has to 'go' but no further - and straight back in to the warm! Cats know best.

MAJ, maybe we should get them wellies!

The sad thing about Robin is that even if it thaws out and he emerges from the barn weeks later looking ill and bedraggled, some whopping cat will have him...

Whirl, and that cat will probably be one of my two!

Or mine. Mandy just puked up a half eaten mouse into the cat basket I so lovingly knitted him.

That said, I would like to join Rufus in his box. It's soooo cold! I'm just not made for these extreme temperatures!

MRp, yuck! It's even worse when it's on something you carefully made for him! I haven't made ours anything, on the grounds that they seem to have a preference for cardboard boxes and rejected the one lovely fluffy cat bed I bought for them!
