So much goodness in one post!

Holly Lisle's knitted cat
Today we have writing and knitting and cats all in one post. All that's missing is chocolate!

It's not actually my post though. You may know Holly Lisle who writes books and teaches writing; well she's not well and was forced to spend a day lying down. So she used the time to make an adorable knitted cat, fully poseable, and useful as a character in her writing. I'm impressed. I've only tried crocheting small animals and it's hard! You can see more pictures here.

Oh, and while we're talking about adorable cuteness, have you checked out Lily-Razz's blog? She has all kinds of cute things, mostly that she's made but you might also like this post starring a fluffy kitten.

Holly Lisle was a huge influence on me when I started to write. Her website is really helpful, addressing all the issues a writer needs to consider. I hope she gets better very soon.

Charmaine, exactly! (But chocolate never goes amiss either.)

Kitty, I thought you'd like that!

Lexi, me too.

Of all the knitted cats I've ever seen, this has to rank among the best.

Whirl, I'm sure that's very high praise!

That cat is so unbelievably cute!

I hadn't heard of Holly before, but I'll definitely check out her site now, thank you.

Clair, I agree on the cuteness. I hope you like Holly's blog.

Lily, I love your blog and I've been waiting for a chance to tell everyone about it. I thought kittens would appeal to a lot of the commenters here!
