Review
Not a book. Today I'm reviewing Boo! Halloween Chocolates from Hotel Chocolat. They came today, so thank you Nicola both for the prize and for getting it to me so quickly.
The chocolates are individually wrapped so you can hand them out to trick or treaters if you like. I won't. Let them eat Haribo, these are mine.
I usually eat very dark chocolate with a strong bittersweet taste. But this milk chocolate is unusually full of flavour. It's smooth, velvety and delicious. You put it in your mouth and it melts into... Oops. Now you know how I came to write my flash story. I'm not really a chocoholic. Really, I'm not.
The chocolates come in several shapes: my favourite is the cat. What could be better, cats and chocolate. They only needed to add a book and I'd be all set. Maybe they'll do that next year.

Mmmmm! chocolate! I want the chocolate, but you can keep the calories.
I think my favorite chocolate is the ganache filling for truffles. Lindt truffle filling, to be exact.
You've stumbled upon one of the three ways I get in touch with my feminine self.

Chocolate.
This time of year is really bad for my chocolate addiction.
Wyrdd, I wish I could separate the two!
Richard, They're all good but chocolate is best!
Housewife (or do you prefer to be called Sapphic?), every time of year is bad for my chocolate addiction!
I'm not generally fond of chocolate but Hotel Chocolat do do a very nice, very bitter dark chocolate with chilis in it.
About a bar and a half in and I remember that chocolate's not overly-fond of me, either!
Kevin, that sounds like heaven! What a shame you can't eat more than a bar and a half at a time.
Milk chocolate is my favorite. There used to be a kind called Ice Cubes. They literally melted in your mouth within seconds of putting them there. Then it was like drinking chocolate.
These look great. Wish they were available here.
They are great. I'm so lucky!
I love 84% cacao content dark chocolate. but I'll eat milk chocolate from time to time.
Milk chocolate is mostly not worth the calories to me - but this is the exception!
84% is harcore, Sarah!
We've got a branch of Hotel Chocolat in the Cabot Centre in Bristol.
Next time you're in this direction, FH, you could do a lot worse than pay them a visit... you may not believe in 'heaven', but that place might just give you second thoughts. :-)
That's temptation beyond endurance! They say one is going to be opening in Guildford - that's only half an hour away. Hmmm.
