Star Struck

27th January 2009

Your stars for today

March 21 - April 19

People may snipe at you because they envy your enormous talents. Believe in yourself and don't let the naysayers get you down.

Famous people born under this sign: Timothy Dalton, Pat Robertson,

April 20 - May 20

Family may be a disappointment to you. It's up to you to make the first move so think about making that casserole and taking it round.

Famous people born under this sign: Queen Elizabeth, Charlotte Bronte, my mother.

May 21 - June 20

It's time to celebrate! Take all your mates out for a beer and make sure you buy the first round and maybe the second one too.

Famous people born under this sign: John F Kennedy, Vincent Price, my mate Tom.

Cancer June 21 - July 22

Nitpicking over money will just lose you friends. Treat loans as gifts and you can't go far wrong.

Famous people born under this sign: Meryl Streep, Ross Perot, my brother.

Leo July 23 - August 22

Enjoy your day while knowing that other more talented people are working their nuts off to make a living.

Famous people born under this sign: Neil Armstrong, Jerry Falwell, Julian Meteor, my lazy kid brother.

Don't sweat the small stuff. A car door is easily repaired and which is more important: your car or your son?

Famous people born under this sign: Sean Connery, Mother Teresa, Dad.

Libra September 23 - October 22

Envy is an unattractive quality. Show former classmates your generosity of spirit by inviting them out for a drink.

Famous people born under this sign: Brigitte Bardot, Bob Geldof, my mate Alan.

What's done is done. Walls can be repainted and floors relaid so leave recriminations behind you when you start writing those references.

Famous people born under this sign: Bill Gates, Pablo Picasso, my ex-boss.

Sagittarius November 22 - December 21

Sagittarians have a great sense of humour and you can show this off today by taking your co-workers jokes in good part. There's no need to retaliate, just enjoy the belly laugh.

A beautiful spirit in a beautiful body. Show how much you love someone by making them a delicious meal tonight.

Famous people born under this sign: Joan of Arc, Joseph Stalin, my girl-friend.

You get what you deserve in life so expect some financial difficulties ahead as justice steps in and alimony stops.

Famous people born under this sign: Christian Dior, Lewis Carroll, my ex-wife.

Pisces February 19 - March 20

Today could mark a big change at work. Stop micromanaging your subordinates and start doing some real work. And buy some deodorant.

Happy Birthday!!!

Mine was exactly a week ago. See the avatar? Aerin made it for me.
Maybe she can give you a new do as well....

This sounds like fun. I used to know a lot about astrology a few years back but most of it's sunk into the peat layer midway between my ears.

My only prediction for now is that the love-child of Claire Petulengro and Justin Toper will be graced with a double-barreled surname.

Under famous Leos your FORGOT Julian Meteor lol

Nice avatar, Chris!

Whirl, what an amazing prediction! Anyone would think that you had higher powers.

Julian, my gross oversight has now been rectified with deepest apologies.

Very nice! I'm a Libra. And I'm trying to have a drink with an old classmate, but she hasn't emailed me back. How did you know? It's as if...you've been down a rabbit hole...

Sylvia said...

Oh wonderful. And I have the dubious distinction of being pisces. Hey, you don't mean to tell me ... *sniff* ... hmm.

He may be out of a job but at least he should get a few drinks ;)

fairyhedgehog said...

Hi Sylvia, a Pisces eh? hehe!

I'm glad you got the joke. I've rearranged the post to make it more obvious. I'm not sure that anyone else read down to the end!

Loved Cancer's: Treat loans as gifts. My younger sister was born in July. This is one of her mantras.

Leo's convicted me: "Enjoy your day while knowing that other more talented people are working their nuts off to make a living." Yeah. I'm a Leo.

Great post, FH.

What's done is done! - How typically Scorpio of me - I've just been rude to everyone I like on my Rabbit Hole Day post. I hope there won't be any petty recriminations!

LOL FHH. I love the thread that ran through this. Great fun!

Happy birthday!

So your brother lent you money, eh? And I have to admit being surprised that you have an ex-wife and a girlfriend. I wouldn't have guessed that from your voice. But then I am being presumptuous.

Thank you for telling us about Rabbit Hole Day. My offering is humble but was very much fun to write.

fairyhedgehog said...

Thanks, Bevie.

I'm glad you mentioned your post, Janey, I'll pop across and look at it. My google reader doesn't seem to pick everything up these days (except for feeds that I've deleted).

Thanks Jessi! Only two and a half month's early!

Pjd - I'm not surprised you couldn't guess I'm a male astrologer from my voice. This is Rabbit Hole Day! Oh, and I thought your poem was very good.

Robin B. said...

Oh, FH, what a good one.

Send CV to Rabbit Times indeed!

This was a great idea you had; I really enjoyed it.

lewis would be so proud ;) lol

you... have a yappy barfday, hear? :O

fairyhedgehog said...

Thanks, Robin and laughingwolf.

Humph, I liked it at the end, as you realise what he's doing and then see that he had gone just a step too far this time.

(Why do I feel sure he's done this before?)

It was very clever - which means anyone skim-reading might have missed it. I did blink a moment when the gender became clear to me - I guess because it's on your blog, I still thought it was an alternate you. In a different setting, it wouldn't have phased me at all.

fairyhedgehog said...

I preferred it with the Sits Vac at the end too, sylvia, so I've put it back the way it first was.

Thanks for the kind words. I think maybe I was trying to be too clever but it was fun to do.

writtenwyrdd said...

Astrology is fun, but the ones in the paper are always so generic as to be useless.

writtenwyrdd said...

Oh, and happy birthday! I completely overlooked that bit until reading the comments.

JaneyV said...

Why does everyone think it's your birthday. Is it your birthday? Did I miss something??

Jessi said...

I read the line that says "people born under this sign" as "people born today"....considering that's how most of those are listed when it's for a specific date. And then when the first person said "Happy birthday," I followed suit because I'd read the insert of "me" up at the top, lol.

laughingwolf said...

i put my bit of nonsense into my 6-word tale III... ;)

fairyhedgehog said...

Thanks for explaining what was going on, Jessi. I was very confused and wondered if it was part of the Rabbit Hole Madness!

So, no it's not my birthday but all of you who wished me a happy birthday in advance, your wishes will go down the rabbit hole and miraculously appear to me on the right date. Like Sarah's early post. So thanks writtenwyrd and earlier well-wishers.

Laughingwolf - I visited your blog and loved the minimalist post.

Sarah Laurenson said...

Happy not Birthday, FHH. This was fun! I have to get my CV together...

fairyhedgehog said...

Thanks, Sarah. You can send me the CV and I'll post it. The email address I gave does work, although I'll disable it if it starts to pick up spam.
