Feeling Grumpy

My Beloved is off on holiday today, playing tennis in Majorca. He had an early flight and I can now inform you 3.20am is not a good time to be woken up. He left at 4.20 and I got back to sleep some time later so be glad you don't live with me: today is a crabby day.

He has of course taken the camera with him so there will be no photo journalism happening in here until he gets back. What's the betting the cats decide to use all their cuteness up this week?

I'm lucky because I'm very difficult to wake up. Hubby could get ready without me even being aware. Even when he says 'goodbye' I generally can get straight back to sleep. But if I get properly woken up - enter Jane the crabby bear (duck and avoid eye contact at all costs).

I don't function well on disturbed sleep.

You have my sympathy. I heartily recommend a nap at around 1.30 - 2pm

Crabby bear just about describes me! I've been back to bed for one nap already!

Sorry about your day, CB. I had to rate this post "oh dear".

I'm not going to take your bet. What I'm betting on is that Rufus has already planned his revenge (for being kept inside a week) and now sees his opportunity to exact it.

Hang in there and try to smile. We'll be thinking of you.

Thanks, Bevie.

In addition to our newer camera, we have the older one and both of our iphones have cameras
Most models of cells have camera, how did manage to have the model without?
Be sure to write about all the cure head curls and back rolls!

I hadn't thought of that, Lisa. I do indeed have a camera phone. So the moggies will be their usual selves, I guess, and not swimming in cuteness.

Lisa said...

aren't they always swimming in cuteness? Isn't the norm for a cat?

Aw. Hate not getting enough sleep and that happens far too often around here. So does the saying 'don't poke the bear'. And guess who is the bear? ;-)

Hope it all goes nice and smooth and quiet.

I love those days when I used to lie on the couch and watch movies all day. Well, watch them when I was awake, that is.

Lisa - that made me laugh!

Sarah, Thanks. I've taken it nice and easy today and I'm going to have an early night.

The cats are bound to do something great, like a karaoke escapology hip hop magic kind of thing that would win Britain's Got Talent hands down.

Damn, Whirl, you're right! They're doing it right now and my phone needs charging. You must be psychic. Or something beginning with psy anyway.

If you have a Mac, you could use it to take pics of the cute kitties, or what about your cell phone? does it have a camera?

Hope hubby has fun in Majorca and that you get a good nap today.

(((hugs)))

Hi Sophie! Thanks for the hugs. I feel much better today after a proper night's sleep.

I do have a mobile (cell) phone. All I need to do is to remember to keep it charged up.

Sounds wonderful, Majorca. Haven't see Spain yet- loved Portugal loads, though.

Does this mean no-having-to-cook, FH? I'd call that a vacation all its own!!

fairyhedgehog said...

I wish! There's still three of us in the house and we all need to eat.

I've been to Spain but not Portugal. The Costa Brava is wonderful: lots of small bays set in high, cliffs, with beautiful clear blue waters.

I don't know about Majorca though.

I hope you have treated yourself to some of that very nice chocolate.
Sx

That's a nice thought, Scarlet. I'm currently off chocolate (aparently it isn't good for people with chronic fatigue) but just wait till I'm feeling better!

Hi Grumpy Poo,
:-)

I just LOVED the photos below!! Oh, I wish I could've been there. I do feel like so many blogging buddies are closer to me than 'real life' people. Strange, but I know you understand.

Glad you guys had a good time though!!
:-)

I wish you could have been there too, Chris. There are going to be other times, though, I'm sure of it.

Grumpy Poo (I love that!)

You sound like you would benefit from a bottle of Babs' world-famous Mead...

It sounds wonderful, Richard. The trouble is alcohol and CFS don't seem to mix...

Hi fairyhedgehog,

I found your blog and it was a delight to read.

When commuting to a neighbouring city I was deprived of sleep every bloody day. :) So I know how morning grumpiness feels alright.

I will be a following of this interesting blog henceforth.

That's very kind of you, Ande.

Being deprived of sleep every day really sucks! I notice you put that in the past tense so I hope that's not the case now.
