I get to start on Armour (dessicated thyroid extract) next week so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.fairyhedgehoghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14141089706966852951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8289273.post-75474120189225068702008-10-08T00:23:00.000+01:002008-10-08T00:23:00.000+01:00Hi, Fairyhedgehog. You have HYPOthyroid, correct? ...Hi, Fairyhedgehog.

You have HYPOthyroid, correct? The tired part is what clued me in. I've been hypothyroid for about 12-13 years. Once I started taking thyroid medication i started to feel better in about a month. I get tested yearly for changes, but my dose has barely changed over all of these years.

I'm hoping you feel better soon. OH, and don't take your medication with iron, calcium, or a high dose of fiber. Screws with the way you metabolize the med.

Smooch.Sophie in the Moonlighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14754353352676037813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8289273.post-33000781106550442562008-10-04T13:17:00.000+01:002008-10-04T13:17:00.000+01:00Thanks, all of you.I've now got a children's book ...Thanks, all of you.

I've now got a children's book in mind for November. With treatment, you should feel much better really soon.writtenwyrddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02280711822302493122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8289273.post-62358709649670545432008-09-30T17:44:00.000+01:002008-09-30T17:44:00.000+01:00Hope you're OK.I'd go with the sci-fi.Hope you're OK.

I'd go with the sci-fi.Whirlochrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09846196906206886945noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8289273.post-86394913267653011542008-09-30T03:18:00.000+01:002008-09-30T03:18:00.000+01:00Oh, that would rock! I may be working full-time as an at-home copyeditor on top of school.

What I really need to do is meet a rich, good-looking guy. That sounds like you've been having a miserable time of it.

I'm going to sign up for Nano but I don't know if I'll do it yet. Sept has been crazy and October's not much better so I am not sure if I want to commit to a busy November or spend it catching up.Sylviahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05925593802209715440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8289273.post-50658758822153997032008-09-29T17:29:00.000+01:002008-09-29T17:29:00.000+01:00Thanks, Robin. I would like to carry on with it though so maybe that takes precedence this year.fairyhedgehoghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14141089706966852951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8289273.post-44308485041908405652008-09-29T16:27:00.000+01:002008-09-29T16:27:00.000+01:00Hey, FH. I'm glad you finally got what you needed medically, and I'm angry for you that it took so long.

My vote: keep writing the novel you're working on, or, if you really wanna do it and have the energy, use your WIP.Robin B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/11471528485010071521noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8289273.post-12073038372319973812008-09-29T12:56:00.000+01:002008-09-29T12:56:00.000+01:00Hey, Freddie, if you do go in for Nano, let me kno...Hey, Freddie, if you do go in for Nano, let me know and I'll add you to my buddie list. If you're really ripping through it, there's no sense in stopping. OTOH, if you get stuck, you can always switch to a nano novel in November.

I too am considering participating. We'll see. School is keeping me hopping.Stacyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03365582623380288038noreply@blogger.com
