Light Relief

This is nothing to do with books, words, writing, nor even with cats. This comes under "whatever takes my fancy". It made me giggle.

As my boys would say, the ending is random. I love that use of the word.

Thanks to mynfel for the link.

That's a shame, Kitty. You really need to hear this one! I don't go much for videos but this one made me laugh.

ROFL! Thanks for the great early morning laugh : )

fairyhedgehog said...

Glad you like it, Elle!

LOL, I hadn't seen that one.

Look up. Back up. Where are you? You're on a boat.

Unknown said...

Er, that first bit should have been look down! WHOOPS.

fairyhedgehog said...

maybe, it seems to have got you all of a dither! He is rather cute.

Women like Old Spice? What a pity. I'm not keen on it myself.

I like the name and the everlasting association with the sea, though.

Oh, and by the way, I DO look like that. [in my dreams, but unfortunately nobody else's]

fairyhedgehog said...

Bevie, Old Spice is quite nice, although I slightly prefer Tabac. I'm glad to know what you really look like!

Ann said...

I don't remember Old Spice making any man I know that interesting. Have they added some secret ingredient or is an exceptionally vivid imagination still required!

fairyhedgehog said...

Ann, I think you may have hit upon something there!

I had to watch it three times because I kept laughing over the lines. This is awesome. Especially the random last line. This must have been so fun to shoot.

Just FYI, I tagged you in an award-thingy on my blog :)

This ad is still cracking me up.

writtenwyrdd said...

Oh my! *fans self* He's a hottie, isn't he? I particularly liked how they kept saying "look down" because you know what we were all thinking...

Quirky Jessi said...

Lmao!!! Okay, this is just incredible!

fairyhedgehog said...

Kitty, I'm glad it made you laugh too!

Kate, that last line is a killer.

maybe, thank you for the award! I did an Honest Scrap post back in 2008, just before declaring this blog an award-free zone, but I love it that you thought of me and I'm very flattered. Oh, and I'm following your blog now. I love what you did with Honest Scrap!

writtenwyrdd, he is indeed a hottie and yes we were all thinking the same thing. I showed the video to My Beloved but for some reason he didn't seem to get it!

Jessi, it's probably quirky enough for your blog!

"The tickets are now diamonds."

Woof! This guy is so wasted in this commercial. I vote we make him the next James Bond. ;)

On another note, does anyone remember that old Axe commercial (must be at least 10 years ago now) where the girl wakes up late, sprays herself with her boyfriend's Axe in the rush, and then the whole day long other girls are sidling up to her and making passes? When she gets home she slams the bottle down on the table in front of him and he just shrugs and looks very guilty? Made me laugh and laugh. Couldn't find it on you-tube...

*dying of laughter*

That's awesome!

I'm on a horse.

Random word verification: peyying

No, I wasn't quite peyying with laughter--but close.

fairyhedgehog said...

Mother, I didn't see that one, but I did like the Radox one that told us to put our clocks back last autumn. I put it on my blog here.

jj, that word verification is very funny too!

Quirky Jessi said...

Hehe, I did actually mark it in my feed reader to post it at some point. I don't know when that'll happen, but don't be surprised if you see this show up on QJ, too.

Stacy said...

Whoa. Someone needs to call the marketing department for Old Spice and talk to them.

That video is bizarre, but hilarious, too.

fairyhedgehog said...

Jessi, I think it fits on your blog rather better than it does on mine! I just couldn't resist it.

stacy, the marketing department are probably congratulating themselves like mad now that everyone is circulating this all round the interwebs.

Mother (Re)produces. said...

Hey, nevermind the bod, I'd go out and by the stuff if it will put a cheeky grin like that on my man.

Odd that my eldest daughter and I laughed a lot harder than my husband did at this... Wonder why.

fairyhedgehog said...

I can't think why that is, Mother. (giggle)

Sophie in the Moonlight said...

LMAO!!!!!! And, you know I haven't done that in weeks.

I CANNOT wait to show my husband this tomorrow morning. He'll ROTFLOL for sure.

*my father-in-law uses Old Spice and my mother-in-law can't stand the smell of it. Maybe he does it on purpose. Maybe he thinks he's on a horse.

**giggling that the word "random" is popular among the younger set across the pond as well. How many times a day do you hear it?

Thank you for the laugh.

fairyhedgehog said...

Sophie, I'm glad it made you laugh! Oddly enough, my Beloved didn't appreciate the ad as much as I did. I suppose it wasn't eye candy for him!

My lads don't say "random" so often now. As soon as I get the hang of a word they use, they seem to switch to something else!
